Winter Series | Tags with Deer and some textures

Hi everyone!

Hope you have the cozy and warm where so ever you are.
This is my first post on the winter this year, and just because I always dreaming about a getaway from tropical to four season countries, I decided to write a winter series, and this is the beginning.

"To appreciate the beauty of a snowflake it is necessary to stand out in the cold."
- Aristotle

I've made two tags, and both of them I am featuring a Deer which is cutting with Magnolia DooHickeys dies.

The beautiful words also coming from Magnolia Vintage Box - Christmas

As you see, there is some texture showing up on my tags. On the first tag, I am using the embossing folder from Sizzix with wood grain texture, I was inked up the folder using Mama Elephant pigment ink pad - Brown sugar. Then for the finishing touch, I painted white gesso here and there along with Chunky White embossing powder from Stampendous.

On the second tag, I stamped winter pine tree from Magnolia Vintage Box - Christmas, and that words also from the same set. For the word, I stamped it using Delicata dark brown shimmer but I am so sorry I have no idea to show how beautiful they are.
All edges of the tags are inked up with Distress Ink in the color of Hickory Smoke.
The deer are built up from 3 pieces die-cut for each deer.

"Winter is on my head, but eternal spring is in my heart."
- Victor Hugo

So, I hope you'll enjoy your holiday and keep warm!

Count down to Christmas | a poem [re-write]

Hi everyone!

I hope you're having a wonderful day so far. when the snow starts to fall and the days of the month of December countdown to Christmas the world is being busy with all the Christmassy things.
This is my favorite month of the year, and I love to feel the ambiance, the soul and all about the season!

I know, I never have enough time to make such a huge amount of Christmas cards, but every card that I made I always put many loves on there.

and here is one of my Christmas card this year,

I am a person that can go well with layers, but somehow I love some shabby design though. and today I am sharing a card with the help of die cutting so hopefully, I am on the right track.

Card Details :

To make this card I first created a shape white side folding card base using Magnolia DooHickey frame dies, I also cut a designed paper with the same shape used it to adhere the panel onto the card base. I’ve done my card in classic white winter colors – lots of decoration here and there, and just hints of red & green accents for the Christmas.
For a finishing touch, I use some gesso, stardust glitter and chunky white embossing powder.

I read a poem about Christmas, and I really love to re-write here and share this Joy with you all;

it's about Christmas ..

Christmas

Christmas is more than a day in December
It’s all of those things that we love to remember
Its carolers singing familiar refrains
Bright colored stockings and shiny toy trains
Streamers of tinsel and glass satin balls
Laughter that rings through the house and its halls
Christmas is more than a day in December
Its the magic and the love
That we’ll always remember

Magnolia Advent Calendar Video 06 - Day 10 | Enjoy your stay!

Hello friends!

I can’t believe how quickly time goes by, it’s nearly Christmas! Just a few more days.
and in these past days, I had some videos for the Magnolia Advent Calendar, I hope you like my creations, and this is the last one I made for the Advent Calendar this year.
as always this one is part of  Magnolia YouTube channel.

My tag is using the stamp that I've got from the Christmas Box bag number 10
and I am so inspired with the image itself.

I made a set towel and face soap, then decorate them using the very simple tags featuring Tilda brings the towels.
p.s. I have a tip when you get your image stained accidentally.

I wish you can find little inspiration from this VIDEO when you need to decorate a present at the last minute ;)

Thank you so much, everyone.
Wishing you a happy December!

Magnolia Advent Calendar Video 05 - Day 9 | Welcome amenities

Hi everyone!
It's that time again to provide another video on Magnolia Advent Calendar on YouTube, and here is my creation inspired by the love of perfection on the hotel amenities to welcome the guests
.
Today I decorate the soap bottle with some tags for little Christmas gifts (think stocking stuffer or advent calendar type of gifts). I was looking to make small (and easy to make) decoration to put little gifts along for this Christmas seasons and some tags from Magnolia DooHickey ended up being perfect. Not too small, pretty decent in size and can easily fit a small bottle.

The essential of today's project is the stamps that we get from the bag number 9

There are two little stamps named, Perfume bottle and soap.
so I was thinking about the perfumed bath soap!

here is the closer look;

if you want to see the steps, you can watch HERE

Bye everyone, see you on next post.

It's December!

Hello everyone!

Today’s blog post is something a little different, but it is a subject I feel so strongly about December!
Hope you don’t mind a short break from sharing something more creative. At this time of year, with the season of giving upon us, our shopping lists are long. I would like to encourage everyone to be mindful about the Christmas itself.
and considering about it, I share some photos that I took when I am on a short getaway and enjoy a moment to have fun

Edna Ferber says,

"Christmas isn't a season. It's a feeling."

and I so agree with her.
Let's take a moment to realize the meaning of Christmas.

I went to Singapore and I don't want to miss a visit to the garden by the bay because I was curious to feel the atmosphere of the night in that beautiful place.
They have a gorgeous theme:
Poinsettias Wishes featuring Disney Tsum Tsum.

Eeyore!
my favorite one from Winnie the Pooh story.

Ok, that's all from me to start my favorite month of the year, December!
See you on my post about Magnolia Advent Calendar very soon!
