I am here with a cute Halloween card featuring Itsy Bitsy Spider Tilda
 All the hot autumn colours today!

For my card today I stared working by stamped the image onto a piece of watercolor paper (Canson illustration) using Versafine onyx black and then water coloring her.
next, I draw some pumpkins using light pencil and paint the pumpkins.

I use "fall" color combo for the background and I really carefully paint because I don't use any masking on the image, but I enjoy every steps of the process.

For the pumpkins, I used several color ;
Carmine, Amiata, Sap Green, Dark Brown from Kuretake Gansai Tambi No.43
and for the background ;
Olive green, Violet, Gamboge

Oh yes, I really love to light up aromatic candle when I paint and crafting, they made an enjoyable and cozy atmosphere.
Final finishing touch was to add a few gorgeous sequins with Halloween festive colors and some manual stitch on the edges.
The text I used here also from the same collection as well.

The Blog Hop runs until 03 November 2018 !!

Bugs kisses | Card inspiration - Halloween series #2

Hi everyone!

It's me again with another Halloween card (oops ..)
 I’ve been very much into very simple stationery-like one layer cards lately, for some reason I also really enjoy to using my stamps onto notebook and journaling!
But I have to say sometimes I miss to make dimensional card also, and today I have one card to share on my short Halloween series;

whoot .. whoot ..
and yeah, I still can't move to make a serious Halloween .. LOL!!
Only the cutest black cat and a spider web, but I personally love them ;)
I think .. I need an bugs kisses :D

I am featuring an image from Magnolia Bugs kisses and Halloween wishes - Tilda and Blackie the Cat and I stamp her onto a piece of Canson illustration paper
The Cat with versafine ink and then water coloring her. and I use DooHickey from various boxes to cut Spider web and cat out.
Sentiment was coming from the same collection as well.

as I mentioned yesterday, at the end of this month I have the final card for my Halloween series and there are some prizes too .. curious ? so, stay tune for the event!

see ya on October 31st

Not too scary Halloween Card - Halloween series #1

Hi dear readers!

I am back in the end of the month of October, and I'll have three blog post about the Halloween ..
the last one will be my most favorite but let me start from the #1

About the Halloween ..
I am not a spooky person , mean that I seldom making or create with Halloween theme!
But I want to challenge my self, go out from my comfort zone is not that easy but I will try anyway ..

So, I hope my Halloween card not too funny for this festival :) :)

I am a book lover! and many my inspiration and motivation comes from the pages I read ..
So in love with this handy inspirational words by Kikki-K

back to my card ..

Card Details :
I started to make this project by picking out an image from the Bugs kisses & Halloween wishes Collection - Under the Moon Tilda along with the word / text and bats from the same collection.
Stamping them with Ranger dye ink - black tie onto Canson ilustration paper and water coloring her, I inked on the white circle card base using distress ink . and emboss the white panel using Tim Holz embossing folder.
The word embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder, and then arrange them together

See you on another post of Halloween parade!
Have a (not so) frightfully day!
:) :)

Note from the Garden of Happiness | October inspiration page

Hi everyone!

As we are now arriving to the month of October, Legend has it that when leaves begin their change to orange, they possess the ability to bring courage spirit until all the leaves are fallen.
and some where on the earth .. have its Autumn.

However before all the leaves change their colors, I want to  bring some greenish memory about the garden because I want to highlight this month to being brave and the most important thing that we have to be brave to seek our Happiness Garden.

I ever read,
Autumn is the second spring when every leaf is a flower ..

after this, I might deal with autumn colors so let me use the sweet left over summer flower on my pages I shared today ;

I am featuring an images from Magnolia - Le Fleur along with some decoration stamps also from Magnolia various collection.

We are .. like a seed and grow everyday ..

I love to re-write encourage word from Oprah Winfrey, she is a good inspiration!

note : I am not good at hand lettering, in fact my hand writing is just so so
but for me, writing a journal is not only about calligraphy skills, but is to express our thoughts and feelings on a page and that will be a reminder of ourselves in the future.

I hope you'll get little idea from here to use your stamps and stuff on another way.

And that's its, Have a good one friends!
