Midsummer Night's dream | Magnolia Pop Up Box

Hi friends!

Today's post is all about midsummer day although it was a bit late :)
I read that given Scandinavia’s long, dark winters, it’s not surprising that the arrival of summer is a big deal throughout the Nordic countries. In Sweden, Midsummer’s Eve is one of the most important days of the year, rivaling Christmas with its festive spirit and traditions.

Magnolia has released a mini set called Midsummer Night's Dream on a PopUp Box.
and I am gonna show you the sweet image from that box so here is my card,

Isn't she is too sweet?
I am curious about the celebration of the midsummer, but yeah I will give her a rainbow color to complete her cuteness.

After I stamped her on watercolor paper with memento ink rich cocoa I colored her using watercolor mediums; Distress Ink Vintage photo for her skin, Walnut stain for hair and the rest I use Winsor and Newton watercolor paint.

I framed the main panel with the help of Pretty Pink Posh scallop frame dies and I was coloring the frame with watercolor paint in rainbow colors.
I also give her a soft background to describe the Midsummer.
Sentiment also from the kit as well as the dragonflies.

if you don't have a lot of time to create, try to rely on sequins as the final touch.
For me, it works!

Enjoy your summer vibes!

Summer fruit mini series #3 (the end) | Watermelon Tilda

Hiya sweet peeps!

and this is the last post in Summer fruit mini-series, I am very excited about this parade and I hope the same with you!  Because sometimes fruits are not only good to enjoy but can be a source of inspiration on hot summer days. :) :)

then this is my last inspiration card with fruits:

Featuring Melon Tilda from the Fruit salad collection, I just happy to wrap out this series :)

Thinking about a watermelon,
I just feel like a fresh, juicy and sweet!
although it has so many seeds :D

Life is like eating a watermelon, you know you're going to get some seeds; just spit them out and take another bite.

this quote so true! he he he

First, I stamped the image onto a piece of watercolor paper (I used Canson Illustration paper) then I colored her with the watercolor medium, as usual.
To finish my card I embossed the words using white embossing powder (pardon with my messy embossed)

See you again on another post, until then Have a fruitful (beautiful) day!

Summer fruit mini series #2 | Pineapple Tilda

Hi lovely readers!

So this is the second post about my Summer fruit mini-series, and while the last one will be my favorite fruit today I am going to to share a tropical fruit which is my husband favorite!
That is a ...

Pineapple!
a tropical plant with an edible fruit :) :)

if you feel pineapple skin, it's hard and rough but the flesh has a crisp, sweet and fresh texture!
You must be patient to peel the skin if you want to enjoy the delicacy of the fruit.

it reminds me about a quote from Jean-Jacques Rousseau, he says:

Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.

I am featuring Ananas Tilda from the Fruit salad collection, coloring her with watercolor medium and pick some word to complete my card.
I cut a frame from watercolor paper with Pretty Pink Posh scallop frame and paint it with ombre color.

Have a beautiful summer to all of you!

Summer fruit mini series #1 | Grape Tilda

Hi everyone!

I hope you all are having the great summer so far, and enjoy the sunlight.
How is the weather around you? Do you have anything special this summer?
I really want to hear the story from some places on this earth :)

I am going to share something that definitely helps me to bring back my mojo after a break for weeks, it seems likely a simple sketch with less decoration but focusing on the image itself.
I am featuring some images from Magnolia stamp, named Fruit Salad collection.
It will come in mini-series, there are three blog post starts from today;

In fact, she is Raspberry Tilda but I consider her to represent "Grape" :) :)

I just love this color combo finally I can present purple pretty well, I usually have difficulty with this color, really!
I used only standard design for a greeting card and I tell you the truth that I am a big fan for Hallmark cards, I adore their design with the elegance of simplicity.

Oh I just LOVE with the words of Mighty Hands - Fruit of the spirits
It complete my card and brings such a perfect combination.

I don't re-write the words here but I do recommend you to check this stamp set if you need some spiritual refreshment, for me, it works well!!

Have a great week ahead!
and stay blessed!
