A Mariposa story

Good day!

Dear readers... Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was dedicated my little free time to cleaning my desk and wardrobe, organizing, and purging the old supplies I no longer seem to use. It felt good!and now I have another blog post to share with you.

Featuring another new release from Magnolia, Sitting Tilda from Fluttering Butterfly Collection.

Card Details

I started to work on my card as usual, by stamping the selected image in watercolor friendly ink (Versafine) on a piece of watercolor paper (Canson Illustration) using my Mini MISTI stamping tool. Having stamped the image I proceeded to color it with Distress Ink and Winsor Newton watercolor pan.

I've painted the branch myself because I wanted to give it a summer scene.
Do you remember the old childhood story about the Barbie doll as princess Mariposa? That story inspired me to paint her wings in rainbow colors 🌈

Beautiful words coming from the same collection as well.

Can you feel how much she really enjoyed the beauty of this summer ??

💖💖

Sending the warmest [virtual] hugs from me, with butterfly kisses and flower petal wishes!

Bella Notte 01

 Hello everyone, Good evening from here!

I hope you are well and enjoying Summer. I am back in my craft room creating handmade cards with the new release products from Magnolia Stamp - Bella Notte

and today I’m very excited to introduce you to my first card using an image from that collection.

The Bella Notte collection is filled with some very romantic image that you definitely want to have it all! yes, all of them!

This is the first one, isn't she is sooooo lovely?

Hands up who loves to colour? My hand is waving high, and as a result, I love to color this image so much! She is very beautifully drawn by Pauline and its night background really romantic!

The lamp post is cutting with DooHickey dies from Box #25 Bella Notte. I cut a piece of paper colored with distress ink then slip it on the lamp, put some glitter and voila! I just love that lamp!

The words also come from the same collection as well as the petite lovely star dies! All elements here really romantic and just love every single piece of them.

Do you forget about the Bella Notte song? really?

Oh, this is the night, it's a beautiful night
And we call it bella notte
Look at the skies, they have stars in their eyes
On this lovely bella notte
Side by side with your loved one
You'll find enchantment here
The night will weave its magic spell
When the one you love is near
For this is the night
And the heavens are right
On this lovely bella notte...

See ya on another Bella Notte collection!

S U N D A Y

 This is SUNDAY!

Hello readers, today is Sunday 23rd of August 2020 on my calendar. Among the busy days, today is quite a bit. It is a beautiful sunny day!

I am sharing another page {again} that wrote on a few days ago...

This is about a thought,

rewrite a Swedish proverb;

Fear less, hope more;
Eat less, chew more;
Talk less, say more;
Whine less, breathe more;
Hate less, love more;
and all good things 💗 all yours

I am featuring some Magnolia stamp images from old collections, but they are beautiful versatile! Coloring them with watercolor with vintage gold tones of color hue.

The pages wrote on a note book from Travelers Company, some botanical stamps using here are my own collection I believe they are from Taiwan and Hong Kong. Blended together with some Chamil garden washi tapes.

Say no more, but hope you can enjoy and find some inspiration from here;

Have a beautiful Sunday!

August page | Keep distancing in Harmony

 Hi there everyone!

It's me again, and I am so happy to say Hi!

Today's post is about my pages for this August but first of all please forgive for a delay posting. It's a bit busy this month and I predict it will be last for few weeks ahead, phew!

Although Busy mode on to me, I want everything to remain in beautiful harmony. Like what I did on my pages, I picked some nature theme elements.

I was featuring Tilda wearing a face mask,
the point is as a reminder of the future, there was a time when wearing a mask was a must 😊 I  was coloring her with watercolor after stamped her onto a watercolor paper and then fussy cut it.

Harmony
is a word to bring some relaxation to me 😊

I also pick a quote from Buddha;

To keep the body in good health is a duty,
otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.

💗

Decorated paper is from Chamil Garden (Taiwan) while other sticker were my own collection.

Thank's and Enjoy your days!
