Hello everyone ..

You may be knowing me, that I am so love with beautiful quotes, and they are always being my good boosters,
You may be knowing me, that I am so love with beautiful quotes, and they are always being my good boosters,
I pick the words from Hans Christian Anderson for today; he says ..
"Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."
while Gerard De Nerval says;
"Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature."
Before I go back to my real activity, let me share a little something
with you and hope you will find some inspiration from this post;
I made a card featuring an image from Magnolia stamp company; Flower Shop Tilda is one of the latest release Le Fleur and she is adorable all the way she is!
Card Details :
First, I started working on all of my cards by stamping the image on Canson Illustration paper and coloring
it with my most favorite medium; watercolor. I use both Distress ink and
Winsor and Newton watercolor to color the image.
I die cut the frame and all flourish decoration with DooHickey Magnolia dies. For the focal panel I did a manual stitching around the image, and I combine the image with the word from Pretty Pink Posh. Around the image I stamped some beautiful vintage flourish word also from the Le Fleur collection with Dessert sand Memento ink.
For an extra interest, I embossed a tiny word "roses" on the cute little sign with white embossing powder (tiny word and sign also from Le Fleur collection)
Thank you so much fro reading,
Wish you the most beautiful month too!

Oh Yulis, this is just the sweetest card ever! I love the sentiment and the softness of the card. Your work is always so lovely. Thank you for teaching me how to be a better artist. I'm starting to play with black for shading now because of you!
Is there a specific type of Canson paper you use?
XO
Chris
