Hi ya peeps!!
I have a card for sharing today ..
It's has an unique shape as I made a File Folder card, of course with my own style and my beloved image from Magnolia stamp :)
and by this way I would love to remind you that we at MDUC still run the
theme about Hearts and Flowers .. so hop on there and have some fun!
ok, let we start from here ..
I use Tilda with Big Ice cream from With Love 2013
Coloring her with distress ink except her dress .. I use my Carandache
water solute crayon because I really want to have a mint color ... oops
..
I am sure my husband will know about my favorite flavor for Ice cream
when he saw this and there are 3 kind .. can you guess ? ha ha ha ..
I made the file folder on the edges with my envelope punch board.
I use StampinUp! card stock and EP papers
Because I love the tone of pool party color so, I made everything on the
same .. I dyed the ribbon with refil of the ink pad, and I love to play
shabby with my white paint :)
Here more closer .. the corner embossed using stampendous chunky white
and sprinkle it with pool party embossing powder. Flowers are WOC
glittering with stardust.
Hearts on there come from Heidi Swapp masking.
at the moment my card was flying to its new home hopefully it was arrived as shown by the immigration stamp :D
wish she will like it!
I will try to make another inspiration craft soon, but it's all for
today. I thank you so much for your visiting and Have a great day!
Hugs,
Yulis

I love you to the moon ..... and back!
Wednesday, 5 February 2014
Hello everyone!!!!!
do you feel the love is in the air ???
yep! we are already in the month that full of cupid around ... LoL
I had some words dancing on my mind ... they are come suddenly and I cant stop to think about it , when I get my time to sit and playing with my ink I just can't forget that words, so my card today has the title :
I Love you to the moon ... and back!
I have no lots of layers or embellishment today, but I never left my Tilda without some details ..
oh my ... I love this image, long time ago when I saw her colored by my dear friend Irene, my heart has stolen!! I think I never put her on my blog ... but trust me I have lots of her on my book, agenda .. ha ha ha
I love her soooooo much!!!
even the Valentine card seem so close with the pink, my truly favorite color not pink but .. Blue :D
That's mean .. I put lots of my love on this card :)
I tried to take this picture to show you her Astronaut Helmet, so shiny with glossy accent on it.
and adding silver lining on her astronaut cloth with silver gel pen.
That word also so perfect .. Fly Me to the Moon is from Winner takes it all.
here more ... closer!
oops.. I can't take the real color with my camera as well, IRL that sky was glitter look because on my last blending I put some pearl powder on it.
Distress ink for the sky are : Stormy sky and Chipped sapphire.
For making a starry night ... I mixed some of my pearl powder with some drops of water and I splatter it on the sky with a brush.
Add some gems some where to make more ... starry.
About the pink .. I will share my pinky one soon, but hopefully .... hopefully ... you will like it as much as I do :)
thank you so much for visiting me today and Have a Lovely day!
xoxo,
Yulis
Box of Love
Monday, 3 February 2014
Hi guys!!
Me again, see you on here :)
Today I wanna show you a thin box envelope that I called Box of Love! and I want to let you know that MDUC still going on with the theme Dies Only so I hope my box will give you an inspiration.
Oh I have to tell you that my work today inspired a lot from my dear friend Debbie's art work! you should check her post here, because she has a very beautiful shabby place ever that inspired me.
.. I wish I could be her neighbor! I will bring this box when she host
an afternoon date and will fill it with bags of tea so we can enjoy the
afternoon tea together .. LoL
I use several DooHikey dies from Magnolia for decorated my box; they are Mini Doily, Peony petals and Leaves.
I show you details of my work for flowers and leaves bellow,
I took this photo on my yard, so hopefully it is more clearly to see.
First, I cut about 8 layers of tissue papers with the peony petal dies
(small size) , spray them with mini mister and coloring the edges with
distress ink, drying with heat tool and the curl made by my hand. once
the petals dried, they are ready to arrange.
I put distress stickles - Spun Sugar some where on the edges.
I put distress stickles - Spun Sugar some where on the edges.
oh yes, they were glued with PVA glue.
and these are the leaves :)
they are from Canson multi media paper, cut with DooHickey and after
spray with water I color them with distress ink - Forest Moss using an
aqua brush from ZIG
Each of the leave twisted with twister when they are still wet and let
aside to dry. After they were drying carefully unfold each of the
leaves, we will get the texture more than plain die cut.
more textures ....
I glue Magnolia design paper on my box card before decorate, and more steps did on there ..
Paint it with white gesso on some side rarely
Stamp Valentine Script (Magnolia stamp) with Early Espresso ink (Stampin' Up)
Using Heiddi Swapp mask doing a stencils fancy with white paste.
Paint the dried hearts using Distress crackle paint - Picket Fence
Stampendous Fragment - Rose and tied with May art string.
and this is the last, the box pattern ..
I made my box with envelope punch board.
and this is the measurement :
paper is 7.25 x 7.25 inches
first steps punch and score at 2.75 inches and the second step punch and score at 3.75 inches
allow with another side until you get like the picture shown.
I am so in love with box envelope more than regular one, because it can keep my flowers safe :)
okaaaay .....
that's all and hope you will enjoy my post today (with no images .. LoL)
and Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs and smiles,
Yulis
