Spreadin' a Little Love | May Inspiration

Hello !!
It's me here and I am so glad to say hello to all my lovely readers...
On the end of May :)

I would love to spread a little love with my card today and I am featuring Tilda with Big Poppy - Yay It's Your Birthday Collection.
I colored her with Spring colors hue, we will say see you again Spring!

This beautiful quote inspired me:

“Spring is when you feel like whistling,
even with a shoe full of slush.”
— Doug Larson

As always  I started working on my card by stamping the image on Canson Illustration paper and coloring it with my most favorite medium; watercolor. I use again both Distress ink and Winsor and Newton watercolor to color the image and paint the background. I die cut the frame with Pretty Pink Posh frame dies and all beautiful butterflies are DooHickey Magnolia dies.

Thank you for reading,
Have a good day that means something!

Especially for you .. | Pink of May

Hello everyone...
I hope you're having good weather and warm where so ever you are.
In the few weeks, the spring will have its end and soon we'll arrive at the border of the summer as we already hop right into June.
This month particularly not as good as the usual month of May, but I ever read a nice quote,
it says...
Every day may not be good,
but there is something good in every day!

Let's be grateful, and here is a card Especially for you!

Especially for you,
I want to let you know what I was going through,
All the time we were apart I thought Of you
You were in my heart... My love never changed
I still feel the same

 {if any of you still remember the lyrics of this song? this is one of my favorite songs by Kylie Minoque}

I made a card featuring an image from Magnolia stamp company; Sweet Pants Tilda from the collection - Yay, It's Your Birthday
Tilda is adorable all the way, and she is ready to summer!

Card Details :
First, I started working on all of my cards by stamping the image on Canson Illustration paper and coloring it with my most favorite medium; watercolor. I use both Distress ink and Winsor and Newton watercolor to color the image.
I die cut the frame with Mama Elephant frame dies while the flourishing decoration cut with DooHickey Magnolia dies [ it was inspired by a beautiful flowery brooch ] and I put the word from Magnolia stamps as well. Around the image, do a lush watercolor painting and splat some paint here and there.
For extra interest, I do some ink blending a piece of watercolor paper with Distress Oxide Ink, splattered water on it then I cut with the frame dies.

Thank you so much for reading,
I wish you a lovely day!

Shining Day!

Hi!
Happy weekend y'all!

as I mentioned last week that I still have another bunny featuring on my card. Yep! Spring was away but this bunny has her ultimate cuteness that I can't resist to get so carried away, I made one more bunny card in a different hue of colors.

I love the sentiment so much! that is so fit with the situation nowadays. And Bunny Tilda so cute!

I stamped her with memento rich cocoa on a piece of watercolor paper then coloring her.

The sun was cut out with Magnolia DooHickey dies from years ago collection.

Decoration stamp is Stempel Glade while the word is Mama Elephant.

Rainbow sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for more interesting.

It's gonna be a bright sun shining day, my friends!
Keep shining and moving forward with a new adventure of our life!

Have a lovely day!

Bee-autiful May

Hello everyone!
 How's going lately?
I hope you're having a wonderful week whatever the condition we are facing nowadays.

Let me share something for you today,
When I saw my kit from the last Magnolia day kit,  I found a cute image (Tilda) using bee costume, suddenly I want to color her and making a card about being positive in real life :)

a short message with this card sending to a dear friend who lives far away in Sweden, she got some ill couple weeks ago and I really want to send her a courage message although I can't send this in person.
I hope she has time to read my post.
and from the bottom of my heart I would love to say;
It's all Good, keep positive and don't give up.

This cutie was coming from the Magnolia day kit, but I believe you can find her (Bee-you art stamp kt) on their website as well. I have stamped her on a piece of watercolor paper and colored her with watercolor.

Since there is a little bit of chaos within our lives and our surroundings right now impacted by the virus, I am so inspired to see the mother nature, go to basic and keep this lovely month of May simple. I'll be taking a break from the bunny this month ( but I still have one post about the bunny, sorry for that!) and hopefully, I will still be able to create something to bring you a Joy.

I have painted the leaves with watercolor paints, give some highlights with white gouache and white gel pen.
The postal stamp was Magnolia stamp and hand-stitched all around the panel for more interesting.

For the finishing touch, I cut postal stamp shape from designed paper with Magnolia DooHickey dies and adhere a heart on it.

I read some quote and I love to re-write here;

"The flower doesn't dream of the bee.
The flower blooms and the bee comes."

A honey bee must tap a hundred flowers to make one drop of honey, the sweetest reward didn't come so easy but that is possible!
